The Voice of Migration (VoM) Project : Future Communicators

The Voice of Migration (VoM) Project is an Erasmus+  Project (KA220-YOU)  that aims to transform how young communicators and youth workers address migration issues. This project focuses on creating more inclusive, ethical, and empathetic migration narratives.

— Our Goal: Effective Communication in the Digital Age

The VoM project enhances digital literacy and communication skills, equipping communicators to handle migration topics responsibly. Our core objectives are to:

  • Strengthen Ethical Reporting: Elevate ethical standards and promote responsible communication on migration issues.
  • Combat Disinformation: Fight misinformation and prejudice using AI-powered tools.
  • Increase Empathy: Develop creative narratives that reduce prejudice against migrants and foster collaboration and public awareness.
  • Ensure Sustainable Collaboration: Establish cross-border partnerships to develop long-term communication strategies.

The project will implement various dynamic activities to boost the knowledge and skills of young communicators and the public:

  • Comprehensive Training Modules: Core educational content on migration communication and ethical reporting.
  • AI-Powered Workshops: Practical sessions for young communicators on the ethical and effective use of AI tools.
  • Creative Awareness Initiatives: Raising public awareness through the “Voice of Photographs” exhibition, podcast series, and interactive community engagement events.
  • Practical Resources: Developing a Migration Communication Toolkit and Glossary for communicators.
