On 21 April, the St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo team delivered a pilot workshop titled “Aspects of Migration Narratives in the Media” within the Voice of Migration – Future Communicators project.
The session was held with participants of the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme “Language Policy and International Diplomacy” and brought together undergraduate and PhD students from Morocco, Türkiye, Greece, Romania, and Bulgaria.
Through real media examples, interactive tasks, and group discussions, participants explored how migration narratives are shaped in the media and how young communicators can respond with ethical, inclusive, and strategic communication approaches.
The workshop also piloted the opening module of the Training Set for Young Communicators & Youth Workers, developed under WP3: Migration Communication and AI Learning Resources.
